Cancellation of Ferry Boat
Whilst on holiday in Spain our clients ferry trip was cancelled at the last minute causing them a considerable amount of distress and unforseen expenditure to arrange alternative transport. Previous to contacting the Consumer Law Centre, the ferry company refused to provide any reimbursement or compensation to our client

E-Commerce Website Did Not Deliver
Our client purchased a high value item via the internet - full payment was taken by the merchant but the item did not arrive. Our client contacted the website directly but did not receive a reply

Client fined 5 times on the same day
Our client, whilst on holiday by car in Italy, was fined 5 times during the same day by a ZTL system as they toured a medieval town centre. The Italian authorities traced their vehicle registration and sent them a fine through the post several months after the event. Our client discarded the fines and situation escalated
